Visiting usAccessThe Museum is located on the upper level of Ely Cathedral accessed by a short spiral staircase. A touch-screen virtual museum visit is available through our interactive display on the ground floor. Please ask at the Cathedral front desk to use this and other accessibility facilities.
Audio TourAn audio tour for the Main Gallery is available for hire from the Museum Shop. Touch PanelA stained glass touch panel is available in the Museum. Library AccessBy prior appointment, special arrangements may be made for individuals unable to access the Museum, to undertake library research on the ground floor of the Cathedral. Cathedral WebsitePlease visit the Cathedral website for details of the Cathedral's access arrangements. Toilets and RefreshmentsAccessible toilets with baby changing facilities are located on the ground floor within the Cathedral for Museum visitors. Please see the Cathedral Map. Accessible public toilets are located outside and around the Cathedral. Please see the Cathedral map. Refreshments are avaliable on the ground floor in the Cathedral Refectory. There are a good selection of cafes and restaurants in the City Centre close to the Cathedral. ParkingA drop-off area is located outside the front of the Cathedral. There are some spaces for disabled badge holders in High Street and Market Street. These can not be reserved and there are time limits on these spaces. A map of Ely and its car parks.
