Mosawer arms, late 16th century
The arms of the Mosawer family of Yverdon (Canton Vaud): shield surmounted by a helmet, surrounded by a laurel wreath with four cupids in the corners.
Inscription: Hans Mosawer der Junger in Pfronten.
Probably by an artist from Berne, where the use of the oval laurel wreath is characteristic.
